  • Provide tool tips and help options to guide users

Avoid

  • Hide crucial features under complex menu structures
  • Rely only on users' intuition to discover features
  • Overload the interface with too many visible options

When to apply

  • Designing a menu or navigation system
  • Incorporating new features in an application
  • Building a complex interface with multiple functionalities
